Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Lee Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Olov Hermansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott's entrance music is Go, Go Power Rangers. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermansson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Scott circles away.
Hermansson misses with a takedown attempt - Scott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A low kick from Scott misses
so Hermansson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott keeping moving, preventing Hermansson from controlling successfully.
Scott tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hermansson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hermansson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hermansson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hermansson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hermansson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hermansson seems to have locked his on tight now - Scott screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hermansson, as he picks up the win!
