Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carolus Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yahweh Falwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falwell has chosen Don't Stop Believing as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rex instigates a clinch.
Falwell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rex creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rex prevents the takedown attempt.

Rex creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Falwell's defenses.
Rex lands an elbow inside that Falwell shrugs off.
Rex stops a takedown attempt from Falwell.
Rex gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Yahweh Falwell has been cut.
Rex lands an elbow just above Falwell 's eye.
Falwell takes an elbow to the forehead.

Rex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Falwell gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Rex gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Falwell is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Yahweh Falwell was interviewed post fight and said 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
