PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graham Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Masterton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masterton has chosen Some Scary Music as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Masterton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Masterton tries to pull guard but Doyle holds him up against the cage and eventually Masterton drops back down to his feet.

Doyle drags the fight down to the ground.
Doyle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Doyle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Masterton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Masterton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Doyle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Masterton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Doyle could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Doyle is looking to stand up but Masterton isn't so interested in that idea.

Doyle is looking to take a break and control but Masterton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Doyle decides to stand up, so the ref orders Masterton to his feet.

Masterton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Doyle feints a jab promting Masterton to slip. Doyle then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Masterton slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
