Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Socket Extender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Machio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Extender might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to BOOM!. Ralph Machio has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machio throws a series of punches but Extender avoids them all with ease.
Extender feinted with a counter takedown.
Extender tries to close the distance and clinch but Machio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Machio feints the counter takedown.
Extender feints and then cracks Machio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Machio down.

Extender gets a takedown into half guard.
We've been hearing that Extender has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machio is controlling Extender's trapped leg to prevent Extender from advancing to side control.
Machio tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Machio slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Extender scoring with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Extender stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Machio throws up his legs and catches Extender in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Extender tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Machio! That came out of nowhere!
