Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Pulse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Mangreg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mangreg has chosen Livin' on a Prayer as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangreg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pulse connects with a right hand. Mangreg shakes it off.
Pulse's corner calls for a 1-2. Pulse obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Harry Mangreg has been cut.
Mangreg throws a sloppy head kick and Pulse moves out of range easily.
Mangreg swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mangreg throws a nice inside leg kick.
Pulse displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mangreg throws out the jab.

Mangreg replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Pulse blocks it well.
Ben Pulse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mangreg counters with a thumping low kick.

Mangreg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pulse chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mangreg can pounce on him.
Pulse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pulse's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Mangreg tries to clinch there but Pulse circles away.

Pulse takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pulse lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mangreg. Pulse does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Mangreg counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pulse walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Pulse takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Oh Pulse is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mangreg throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mangreg cracks Pulse with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Pulse tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mangreg pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Pulse is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Mangreg!
Harry Mangreg was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
