Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joell Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mann comes to the cage accompanied by Crank Dat by Soulja Boy. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mann has his foot on Ortiz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ortiz works his way back into a safe position though.

Mann had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ortiz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mann Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ortiz's back instead.

Mann has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ortiz has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Will Mann go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Mann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ortiz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ortiz kicks Mann off and gets to his feet.
Mann shoots in looking for a takedown. Ortiz tries to sprawl out of it but Mann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ortiz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
