Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Meadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meadows gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Caldwell gets underhooks to prevent Meadows's takedown attempt.

Caldwell manages to break the clinch.
Meadows looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Caldwell is fending him off so far but Meadows persists. Nope, Caldwell circles away and we're back to standing.
Tyrell Meadows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caldwell swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Meadows.

It looks like Tyrell Meadows has been cut.

Caldwell lands with a nice combination. Meadows backs away looking to recover.
Caldwell leaves Meadows with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Meadows tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Caldwell just stands there and leans against the cage.
Caldwell is trying to break the clinch but Meadows is controlling him.

Caldwell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Caldwell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Meadows really is a fat lump.
Caldwell closes the distance and clinches up with Meadows, looking for a takedown. Caldwell pushes Meadows against the cage but Meadows circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Caldwell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Meadows, pushing him back against the cage.

Caldwell pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Meadows back to the cage. Caldwell follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Sloppy strikes from Caldwell. Those never looked like landing.
It looked like Meadows was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Meadows bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Meadows throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Caldwell works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Meadows is stalling here. Caldwell is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Meadows seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Caldwell has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Caldwell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Meadows pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Caldwell knocks Meadows out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
