Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Havener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norbert Schwager Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havener comes into the arena with My Dick: Mickey Avalon blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 27 - 4, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Havener!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Norbert Schwager Ii!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havener throws a sloppy head kick and Schwager Ii moves out of range easily.
Schwager Ii doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Havener connects with a jab.
Havener connects with an inside leg kick.
Schwager Ii connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Schwager Ii defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Havener.
Schwager Ii shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Havener as he avoids it easily.
Havener shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schwager Ii defends it nicely.
Schwager Ii drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Havener defends it well.
Havener has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Schwager Ii finds it's way round the side to connect with Havener's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Havener shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schwager Ii defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Havener. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Havener misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Havener missing with a left hand there. Schwager Ii was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Havener shoots in but no luck this time.

Schwager Ii digs a good body shot into Havener's ribs.

Havener drives through with a takedown into Schwager Ii's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Schwager Ii pulls Havener in close to prevent any damage.

Schwager Ii looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Havener got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schwager Ii has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Havener has managed to get both his arms back between Schwager Ii's legs - danger averted.

Schwager Ii looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Schwager Ii working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Havener doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Havener manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schwager Ii avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Schwager Ii seems keen to control Havener's posture.
We've been hearing good reports from Havener's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Schwager Ii trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Schwager Ii is pulling down on Havener's head. It's preventing any offense from Havener, at least for the moment.
Havener preventing the sweep.
Havener wants to get up but he can't break Schwager Ii's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Havener avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Schwager Ii pulls Havener in to control the position.
Havener would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Havener trying to control but Schwager Ii is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Schwager Ii wants to sweep here but Havener controlling him for the moment.
Schwager Ii has Havener pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Havener tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schwager Ii swivels and escapes.
Havener connects with a body shot.
Havener lands a nice looking body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Schwager Ii.
Schwager Ii stuffs the takedown attempt from Havener. Havener gets slowly back to his feet.
Havener throws an off balance right hand
and Schwager Ii counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Schwager Ii scores with a shot to the body.
Havener throws a head kick but Schwager Ii moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Norbert Schwager Ii dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Schwager Ii cracks a nice hook into Havener's ribs.
Havener shoots in looking for a takedown. Schwager Ii tries to sprawl out of it but Havener keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schwager Ii manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Havener changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schwager Ii tries to avoid it but Havener manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schwager Ii to the ground. Schwager Ii escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Schwager Ii has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Schwager Ii scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Havener doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Schwager Ii counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Havener. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Havener tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Schwager Ii misses with a double jab.
Norbert Schwager Ii is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Havener will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Havener walks straight into a right hand from Schwager Ii - that's dropped him! Schwager Ii jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Havener from any more punishment! Havener complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Norbert Schwager Ii!
After the big win, Norbert Schwager Ii made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Spartan Nutrition and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
Andrew Havener was interviewed post fight and said 'Win/lose I love an ass beating'.
