Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alil Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Hyuuga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hyuuga clinches up against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Hyuuga.
Hyuuga has Jr pressed against the cage, preventing Jr from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Jr managing to block the knees to the body from Hyuuga.
Hyuuga wants to break free but Jr has control.

Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Jr wants to work for an arm triangle but Hyuuga is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hyuuga pushes Jr off looking to stand but Jr dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jr uses his free foot to push down on Hyuuga's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hyuuga.

Hyuuga wants to clinch up but Jr keeps it at a distance.
Hyuuga looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jr dives in for a single leg takedown but Hyuuga sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hyuuga finds it's way round the side to connect with Jr's head.
Nice takedown defense from Hyuuga. No joy for Jr on that attempt.
Jr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Hyuuga connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hyuuga throws a leg kick but Jr moved away.

Hyuuga circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jr drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hyuuga follows Jr to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
