The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mormeck Jr takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Jorge Aldo has been cut.
Aldo thows a leg kick but Mormeck Jr checks it
and Mormeck Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Aldo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

A little feinted left hand from Mormeck Jr on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mormeck Jr jabs Aldo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jorge Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aldo moves to clinch but Mormeck Jr breaks away
and Mormeck Jr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mormeck Jr swats away the attempt to clinch by Aldo.
Aldo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Mormeck Jr lands with a hook. Aldo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Mormeck Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Mormeck Jr counters with a massive combo! Right, left, right! Aldo goes down! He's out cold! The referee doesn't need to count him out here - this one was over before Aldo hit the floor!
