The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boubeez clinches up with Arantes and pushes him back against the cage.
Boubeez has Arantes pressed against the cage, preventing Arantes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Boubeez wants the takedown. Arantes is fighting it off but Boubeez persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Arantes's guard against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've been hearing reports that Arantes has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Boubeez now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Arantes shoots for a takedown but Boubeez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
