Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benedict Camacho Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camacho Jr slips a jab from Jackson.
Jackson lands a right hook to the body.
Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Camacho Jr was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Camacho Jr seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Camacho Jr circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
George Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson stuns Camacho Jr with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jackson misses with a double jab
and Camacho Jr counters with a straight right hand.
Jackson's coach down at Werewolf's cave was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jackson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Camacho Jr takes a jab right on the kisser.


It looks like Benedict Camacho Jr has been cut.

Jackson closes the distance and pushes Camacho Jr back into the cage.
Camacho Jr working hard to break the clinch.
Jackson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Camacho Jr backwards.
Jackson has Camacho Jr pressed against the cage, preventing Camacho Jr from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Camacho Jr tries to break free but Jackson pushes him back against the cage.
Camacho Jr blocking some punches.
Jackson lands an elbow inside.
Jackson lands a left hand.
Jackson scores with a shoulder strike.
Jackson unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Camacho Jr! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Jackson is unloading with more strikes now! Camacho Jr drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Jackson!
