The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maverick takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Shane Maverick has been cut.
Ogard with a jab.
Ogard cracks Maverick with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ogard has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Maverick to stand back up!
Maverick blocks a head kick by Ogard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maverick looks to clinch
and Ogard counters with a left to the body.
Maverick fails with the takedown
and Ogard counters with a right hand from hell and Maverick is out cold! A vicious knockout!
