Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paolo Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Garry Gurrang!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramirez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Ramirez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gurrang to his feet.
Gurrang tries a head kick but it misses.
Ramirez half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gurrang tries for a takedown but Ramirez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gurrang is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ramirez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Gurrang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ramirez, pushing him back against the cage.

Ramirez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gurrang misses with a head kick.

Gurrang tries to sprawl but Ramirez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ramirez postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Gurrang to stand up.

Paolo Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garry Gurrang.

Ramirez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ramirez lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Ramirez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Ramirez connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Gurrang is rocked!
Gurrang drops his hands for a split second and Ramirez immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Gurrang face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ramirez follows up with a right hand that knocks Gurrang into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
