Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Serg Ebonivic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rayle Amot Abdalla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Serg Ebonivic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rayle Amot Abdalla!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ebonivic dives in and scores a takedown into Abdalla's guard.
Ebonivic in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ebonivic stands up over Abdalla, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ebonivic wanted to stand there but Abdalla had control of the position.
Ebonivic wants to pass the guard but Abdalla is keeping the position.
Ebonivic is working hard here to advance position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ebonivic passes Abdalla's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ebonivic seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ebonivic is looking to take a break and control but Abdalla is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Abdalla tries to land a leg kick but Ebonivic saw it coming and moves away.

Ebonivic dives in and scores a takedown into Abdalla's guard.
Ebonivic wants to control from the top but Abdalla keeps moving.
Ebonivic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Abdalla swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Abdalla not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ebonivic is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Abdalla preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ebonivic engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Abdalla lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Ebonivic has Abdalla pulled in close to control his posture.

Abdalla is looking to chop away at Ebonivic's legs.
Abdalla throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Abdalla does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Ebonivic gets the takedown into side control.

Abdalla sneaks out the side door and pushes Ebonivic away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Abdalla gets caught napping as Ebonivic dives in and scores a takedown. Abdalla manages to retain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ebonivic is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ebonivic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ebonivic passes Abdalla's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Ebonivic is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ebonivic is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Serg Ebonivic overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ebonivic content to control rather than advance.
Ebonivic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ebonivic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Abdalla lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Abdalla has his foot on Ebonivic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ebonivic works his way back into a safe position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ebonivic, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
