Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Piet Karel!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faruk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karel.
Faruk fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Faruk looks for a takedown but Karel sprawls well.

Karel clinches up with Faruk and pushes him back against the cage.
Karel is struggling to control the position.
Faruk is trying to drag Karel to the mat but Karel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abdi Faruk. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Karel decides to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karel is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Faruk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Karel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Faruk is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Karel holds on and takes a little breather.
Karel wants to sweep here but Faruk controlling him for the moment.
Faruk sitting in guard here, content to control.
Karel wants to control but Faruk passes easily into half guard.
Faruk takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Faruk is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Faruk is trying for a kimura here. Karel looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Faruk wins by kimura!
