The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin lands with a right hand.

Putin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Lewsk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Putin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lewsk has his foot on Putin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Putin works his way back into a safe position though.

Putin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewsk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Putin throws a strike but Lewsk rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Putin wants to stand but Lewsk is controlling the position.

Lewsk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lewsk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Putin wants to stand and escape but Lewsk is having none of it.
Lewsk lands a couple of elbows.
