Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Per Saukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lasi Leuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Saukko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Leuka pushes Saukko up against the cage in a clinch.
Saukko stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Saukko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Lasi Leuka has been cut.

Per Saukko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saukko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A little jabbing left from Leuka on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Leuka counters with a straight right hand.
Saukko on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Saukko has been working on his boxing with his coaches at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) in the buildup to the fight.
Saukko will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Saukko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Saukko sends Leuka crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Saukko is motioning to the referee to let Leuka up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Leuka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saukko.

Saukko feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leuka sprawling to the canvas! Leuka rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Saukko finish him?!

Leuka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Saukko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Leuka in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Lasi Leuka spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
