Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Angstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Law has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law lands a jab.
Angstrom takes a swing at Law's ribcage but misses.
Angstrom falls off balance throwing a combination

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Law looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Law is thwarting Angstrom's attempts to control the position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Law in particular looking to stall.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Law lands a nice short elbow.

Law looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Angstrom with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Law working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Law is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Angstrom has his foot on Law's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Law works his way back into a safe position though.

Law keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Angstrom's head.
Law slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Law seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Angstrom has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Angstrom there as he acknowledges the shot.
Law has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Angstrom throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Angstrom 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Angstrom swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Law manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Angstrom on his heels. He'll look to pass Angstrom's guard now, I'm sure.

Angstrom seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Jackson Law showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fight stays on the outside here - Angstrom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
