Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Major Lazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Rio comes into the arena with Requiem for a dream blaring out of the sound system. Lazer has chosen Major Lazer - Pon De Floor as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Del Rio circles away quickly and effectively.

Del Rio has Lazer up against the cage in a clinch.
Del Rio is trying to pull guard but Lazer has him pressed against the cage.
Del Rio tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lazer wants to take the fight to the mat but Del Rio manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Del Rio misses with some punches.
Del Rio drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lazer pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alberto Del Rio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Del Rio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lazer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Del Rio throws a nice looking combination but Lazer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lazer drops Del Rio with a beautiful combination! Del Rio stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lazer is looking for the KO!

It looks like Alberto Del Rio has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lazer misses with a few strikes there.
Lazer connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Del Rio covering up! Lazer comes in with a big uppercut and Del Rio goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Major Lazer!
A determined Major Lazer didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
