PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alastair Stirling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceaser Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stirling comes to the cage accompanied by Endgestalt - Sturmkrieger. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alastair Stirling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ceaser Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stirling throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie feints the counter takedown.
Gracie dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stirling. That did some damage!
Gracie wants to clinch up but Stirling keeps it at a distance.
Gracie slips under a jab.

Stirling feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gracies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stirling is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Stirling circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stirling uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gracie has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stirling has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stirling and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stirling throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Stirling wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy and won't allow it.
