Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ross Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willem Karel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi misses with a two punch combination.
Rossi throws a right and a left that Karel avoids nicely.
Rossi feints a jab promting Karel to slip. Rossi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Karel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Karel pushes Rossi up against the cage in a clinch.

Rossi jumps guard and drags Karel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rossi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rossi tries to get out of the position.
Rossi has control of Karel's left arm, preventing Karel from doing any damage.
Rossi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Karel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rossi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Karel wants to stand and escape but Rossi is having none of it.

Rossi lands with an uppercut that bounces Karel off the cage and back into range.
