Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jislaya Koshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a head kick.
Koshi throwing a counter right hand but Jackson manages to avoid it.
A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination.
Jackson throws a right hand that Koshi ducks under and follows up with a left that Koshi also avoids with ease.

Koshi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Jackson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jackson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jackson works Koshi's body with a nice hook.
Jackson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Jackson throws a right hand that Koshi ducks under and follows up with a left that Koshi also avoids with ease.
Jackson lands a glancing blow to the side of Koshi's head.
Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koshi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Koshi slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Jackson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jackson lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Jackson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackson.
Koshi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Koshi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jackson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Jackson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Koshi!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Koshi regains half guard.
Koshi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jackson tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Koshi wants to get back to full guard.
Jackson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jackson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jackson throws a combination. Koshi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jackson misses with a double jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jackson lands a glancing blow to the side of Koshi's head.
Koshi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Danga de danga de dang - Jackson scores with a four punch combination!
Jackson tries to clinch there but Koshi circles away.
Koshi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Koshi is looking for a counter combo.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Koshi.
Jackson connects with a body shot that sends Koshi's belly button to the back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson wants to stand but Koshi is controlling his arm.
Koshi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Koshi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Koshi is breathing heavily.
Jackson tries to stand but Koshi controls the position and pulls Jackson into his guard.
Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jackson wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Koshi's closed guard. He's half up but Koshi has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Koshi pivots and extends the arm, Jackson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Koshi! Well done that man!
