Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Fryer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Cristiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronaldo Cristiano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronaldo Cristiano!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fryer shoots in for a takedown but Cristiano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fryer drives through and clinches with Cristiano against the cage.

Fryer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cristiano just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fryer's brow.

Fryer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cristiano uses from the top position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fryer is on top in guard.

Cristiano manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Fryer keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Fryer tightens his grip and picks Cristiano up, before dumping him to the ground. Cristiano manages to land in guard.
Cristiano wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Fryer manages to pass to side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cristiano wants to improve his position but Fryer is controlling well.

Cristiano manages to get to full guard.
Fryer stands and throws Cristiano's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cristiano is looking for a sweep.
Fryer connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cristiano some visible discomfort.
Cristiano tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Cristiano wants to get back to his feet.
Cristiano tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fryer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Fryer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cristiano to his feet.
Cristiano throws a nice looking combination but Fryer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fryer tries to move into range but Cristiano moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Fryer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cristiano on his heels. He'll look to pass Cristiano's guard now, I'm sure.

That was a close round but I would say that Frankie Fryer will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cristiano shoots in looking for a takedown but Fryer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cristiano's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cristiano shoots for a double leg takedown but Fryer sprawls well. He's pushed Cristiano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fryer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cristiano has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cristiano and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fryer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fryer lands a heavy elbow.
Cristiano tries to lock up and control but Fryer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frankie Fryer will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
