The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Sigurdsson as he checks the leg kick.
Sigurdsson clobbers Newell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sigurdsson misses with a wild body shot.
Sigurdsson walks into a stiff left hand from Newell.
Sigurdsson moves out of range as Newell strikes.
Newell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sigurdsson.
A lazy left from Newell finds it's target.

It looks like Ragnar Sigurdsson has been cut.
Newell throws a hook but Sigurdsson avoids it easily.

Sigurdsson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Newell.

Newell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sigurdsson manages to avoid it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sigurdsson lands a really nice looking cross but Newell seems unphased.
Sigurdsson throws out a loose jab but Newell uses good head movement to avoid it.
Newell digs a good hook to Sigurdsson's body.
Newell looks to throw the jab but Sigurdsson is out of range.
Newell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Sigurdsson appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sigurdsson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sigurdsson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Sigurdsson throws a lazy right hand but Newell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Newell throws a looping overhand right but Sigurdsson ducks down to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sigurdsson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Newell is out of range.
A clash of legs there as Sigurdsson blocks the low kick.
Newell moves out of range as Sigurdsson strikes.
Sigurdsson ducks under a wild hook from Newell.

Newell missing with a left hand there. Sigurdsson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sigurdsson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sigurdsson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Newell swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Sigurdsson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Newell is rocked!
A head kick by Sigurdsson - that's a beauty! Newell is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Sigurdsson can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
