Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Marchewa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Pompom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pompom throws a series of punches but Marchewa moves out of range.
Marchewa appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Pompom instigates a clinch.

Marchewa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pompom misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pompom shoots for a double leg takedown but Marchewa sprawls well. He's pushed Pompom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pompom instigates a clinch.
Pompom works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Pompom has had enough of the clinch but Marchewa keeps him there for the moment.

Marchewa drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pompom gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Marchewa stuffs the takedown attempt from Pompom. Pompom gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters circle momentarily. Pompom darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Pompom moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Pompom looks to land a combination. Marchewa sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pompom has closed the distance and engaged Marchewa in a clinch.

Pompom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pompom shoots in looking for a takedown. Marchewa tries to sprawl out of it but Pompom keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marchewa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pompom dances in with a quick combination. Marchewa is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Pompom snaps Marchewa's head back. Marchewa stumbles backwards against the cage. Pompom steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Marchewa's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Marchewa just didn't come prepared.
