Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Roberto Gracie has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roberto Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Baker!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Baker scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Baker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Baker has control of the leg.

Baker is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Roberto Gracie will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Gracie misses with a takedown

and Baker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gracie's guard.

Gracie is looking for a triangle but Baker pushes his legs off easily.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Baker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Baker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Baker looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Baker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baker manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Baker's guard.

Baker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Baker is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Baker is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Baker rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Baker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
