These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matsuda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Matsuda ducks under a wild hook from Wade.
Matsuda moves in looking to clinch but Wade pushes him off.
Matsuda drops his hands momentarily and Wade takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kane Wade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wade slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Matsuda stuffs the takedown.

Wade throws the left hand but Matsuda avoids the punch easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
No luck for Wade with that takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Wade or perhaps it was just good defense by Matsuda which made him look bad.

Matsuda tries to clinch up but Wade circles away and keeps his distance.
Wade throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Matsuda sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Matsuda seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Matsuda has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Wade to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Matsuda is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Wade pulls down on the head and he's put Matsuda to sleep! This one is all over!
