The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakubitskaya lands a head kick. Ankjrll smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ankjrll pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like Yakubitskaya was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Yakubitskaya moves into range and clinches up with Ankjrll.
Yakubitskaya lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Ankjrll tries to pull guard but Yakubitskaya won't allow it.
Ankjrll working hard to break the clinch.
Ankjrll has Yakubitskaya pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yakubitskaya manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Yakubitskaya moves into the clinch.
Ankjrll wants to get back to striking at distance but Yakubitskaya won't allow it.
Yakubitskaya lands a body punch.
Yakubitskaya lands with a short shot to the head.

Yakubitskaya digs a right hand into Ankjrll's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ankjrll's gas tank.
Ankjrll stalling in the clinch but Yakubitskaya improves position.

Yakubitskaya presses Ankjrll against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A right hook to the body lands for Yakubitskaya.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yakubitskaya creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Yakubitskaya tries to throw a body punch but Ankjrll avoids it by throwing Yakubitskaya back against the cage.
Yakubitskaya digs a right hand underneath Ankjrll's ribcage. Ankjrll let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kenji Yakubitskaya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rune Ankjrll.
Yakubitskaya is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ankjrll gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A nice right hand lands inside from Yakubitskaya.

Ankjrll jumps guard and drags Yakubitskaya to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ankjrll is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Yakubitskaya has his hands clasped together but Ankjrll extends and breaks Yakubitskaya's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ankjrll.

Rune Ankjrll decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
