Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egil Wiik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiik is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rummelsnuff. William Graham has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Graham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Egil Wiik!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graham shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wiik manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Graham stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiik swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Graham postures up in Wiik's guard and throws a big left but Wiik blocks it.

Wiik escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Graham gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Graham not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Graham slips nicely into half guard.
Graham stalling.
Wiik tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Graham has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Graham controlling his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Graham throws some wild stikes that Wiik manages to avoid easily.

Graham gets caught flat footed, as Wiik shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
My spies in Sports Fitness $50 inform me that Wiik has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

William Graham overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Graham swings around for an armbar but Wiik sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Graham's guard.

Graham's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wiik thows a huge punch but Graham dodges it nicely.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Graham is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Graham wants to improve his position but instead Wiik has moved into half guard.
Graham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Graham is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Graham has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wiik off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Graham changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wiik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wiik is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wiik can't do much from the bottom here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Graham decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wiik, up you get!

Graham fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wiik sprawls well initially but Graham persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Wiik seems a little lost for a moment, as Graham dominates the positioning.
Graham fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Graham is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wiik has escaped the position, nice work there.
A lull in the action here as Graham stalls from top position.
The strikes coming from Graham are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Graham is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wiik is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Graham advances to mount.

Egil Wiik has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
William Graham is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Graham manages to capitalize on a mistake by Wiik to take his back!

William Graham showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Graham has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
