Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Terrance Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Ennis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ennis pushes Greene up against the cage in a clinch.

Ennis pulls Greene into guard.
Greene will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Greene throwing strikes from guard but Ennis blocks nicely.
Greene sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ennis has eaten all the pies!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Greene accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Greene postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ennis wants to sweep but no luck.
Greene scoring with punches to the head and body.
Greene looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greene throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Greene drops back looking for a leg! Ennis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ennis manages to kick Greene off! Greene jumps back into Ennis's guard.
Greene controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Ennis wants to stand but Greene is controlling the position.
Ennis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Greene.
Greene really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Greene in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ennis is looking to stand up but Greene isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ennis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Ennis has Greene pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ennis pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Greene tumbling to the mat - Ennis dives into Greene's guard.

Greene has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ennis has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Ennis has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Greene regains guard immediately.

Greene wriggles free and stands up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Greene shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ennis as he avoids it easily.

Ennis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Greene manages to escape and get back to his feet!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ennis has closed the distance and engaged Greene in a clinch.
Greene is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ennis to keep the fight standing.

Greene jumps guard.

Greene looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ennis is looking to pass into half guard but Greene pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Greene is in guard.

Greene drops back looking for a leg! Ennis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ennis manages to kick Greene off! Greene jumps back into Ennis's guard.

Greene lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ennis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ennis wants to stand but Greene is controlling the position.

Ennis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ennis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Greene wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Ennis works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Greene pushes Ennis off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Ennis has managed to clinch.
Ennis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Greene wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Ennis lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ennis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Ennis is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Greene has managed to free his arm - good work.
Greene gets full guard.
Ennis is breathing heavily.
Greene trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Ennis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greene. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Greene is working an open guard so Ennis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Ennis takes the fight into the clinch.
Ennis throws an elbow but it misses.
Ennis lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ennis pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Greene tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ennis throws an elbow that misses.
Ennis scores with a nice hook to the head.
Ennis misses with the head strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Greene.
Greene jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ennis walks away with a smile on his face. Greene gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ennis gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ennis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ennis closes the distance and clinches.
Greene tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ennis smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terrance Greene. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ennis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Greene blocks an elbow strike from Ennis.
Greene is trying to pull guard but Ennis turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Greene jumps into guard, dragging Ennis to the mat.
Greene controls Ennis momentarily but Ennis frees himself.
Greene has his hands on Ennis's head, controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ennis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Greene to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ennis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Greene pulls down on the head and he's put Ennis to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Terrance Greene!
