Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Montoya shoots for a takedown but Torres saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Torres misses with a combination
and Montoya counters by clinching up.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Torres lands with a light punch inside.
Montoya tries to score a body lock takedown but Torres shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Torres has had enough of the clinch but Montoya keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on Torres's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Torres shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Montoya eats them both and turns towards Torres to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

As Torres tries to get set, Montoya tries to push him back and clinch up but Torres manages to avoid the attempt.

Torres pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Montoya back to the cage. Torres follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Montoya's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Torres connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Montoya scrambles back to his feet.
Montoya walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
