PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Crunchie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Crunchie . Those never looked like landing.
Crunchie throws the left hand but Teller avoids the punch easily.
Teller moves away from the strike by Crunchie .
Teller swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Teller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Crunchie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Jax Crunchie has been cut.
Crunchie misses with a hook. Teller ducked under it nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from Teller misses its target.
Crunchie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Teller moves away.
A jab from Crunchie misses.
Crunchie looks to land a left hand but Teller moved out of range nicely.
Crunchie misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teller misses with a two punch combination.
Teller keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Crunchie .

Teller is looking to counter punch.
A left lands for Crunchie .
Donk. Crunchie catches Teller right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Jackson Teller has been cut.

Teller lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Teller just misses with a punch to the body.
Teller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Teller is looking to counter punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Teller.
Crunchie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Teller.
A quick step to the side and Teller tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Teller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Crunchie was well out of range. Poor timing from Teller.
Crunchie throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Teller swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Crunchie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Teller throws out the jab.
Teller thows a left - swing and a miss!
It seemed like Crunchie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Teller throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Teller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Teller tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Teller lands a body punch.
A short uppercut from Teller.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Teller lands with a light punch inside.

That has opened up Jax Crunchie 's cut even more.
Crunchie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Crunchie is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Teller has a couple of punches blocked by Crunchie .
Crunchie fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Crunchie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Teller's corner calls for a 1-2. Teller obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A big right from Crunchie misses.
Teller's jab looks to have found its range, popping Crunchie under the eye.
Crunchie throws a shot from downtown. Teller moves away and avoids it.
Crunchie scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Teller doesn't seem bothered though.
Crunchie looks winded!
Teller throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Teller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crunchie doesn't seem phased though.

The cut above Jax Crunchie 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Teller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crunchie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Teller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crunchie , pushing him back against the cage.
Teller lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Crunchie backwards.
Teller pushes Crunchie back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Jax Crunchie 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Teller lands a right hand that snaps the head of Crunchie backwards.
A short left from Teller.

Teller drops Crunchie onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Crunchie is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Crunchie is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jax Crunchie 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
