Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brennan is defended easily by Morris.
Morris scores with a one two! Brennan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Jeff Brennan has been cut.
Morris misses with a combination
and Brennan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morris lands a jab to Brennan's midsection.
Morris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morris scores with a one two! Brennan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Morris counters with a left and a right that stings Brennan.
Brennan tries to close the distance and clinch but Morris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Brennan backs off Morris throws a huge counter combo but Brennan manages to avoid it all.
Morris feints a jab promting Brennan to slip. Morris then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brennan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Morris misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brennan takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Morris throws a left and a right that both miss

and Brennan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Morris kicks off Brennan and gets to his feet.

Brennan closes the distance and clinches.

Brennan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morris, pushing him back against the cage.
Brennan swings wildly with an uppercut but Morris uses good head movement to avoid it.
Morris is trying to break free.
Brennan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Morris pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Brennan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brennan decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morris is looking to stand up but Brennan won't let him.

Morris stands and steps away. Brennan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Morris ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Morris is working the combinations to good effect here.

Morris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brennan doesn't seem bothered though.
Morris lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Brennan can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Morris and Brennan drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Morris.
