Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Murphy MacManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seok Yi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacManus comes to the cage accompanied by The Blood of Cu Chulainn . Yi has chosen Sir Sly - You Haunt Me (Soysauce Edition) as his entrance music. Seok Yi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Murphy MacManus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Seok Yi!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacManus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Yi is looking to score with low kicks.
Yi slips under a jab from MacManus.
Yi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but MacManus blocks it well.
MacManus keeps Yi at a distance using the push kick.
MacManus will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Yi wants to counter the offense by MacManus and move into the clinch position.
MacManus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Yi wants to clinch but MacManus slips to the side
letting MacManus counter with a right hand.

Yi's coach down at Soul Supremacy Rio was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Yi throws a nice inside leg kick.
Yi seems to have recovered his senses.
We've been told by MacManus's head coaches at The PIT that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. MacManus checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Yi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt MacManus.
MacManus blocks the body kick.
Yi attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
MacManus throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Yi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MacManus paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Yi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but MacManus checks it well.
Yi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of MacManus's head.
MacManus cracks a nice hook into Yi's ribs.
MacManus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yi moves away.

MacManus takes a swing at Yi's ribcage but misses.
Yi appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Yi checks a leg kick.
Yi tries a low kick but MacManus avoids it.
MacManus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
MacManus fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Yi checks it well.
Murphy MacManus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut there from MacManus.
Yi misses with a low kick.
MacManus throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Yi thinks about the counter body kick.

Yi motions for MacManus to come forward. Yi throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Yi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
MacManus wants to land a leg kick but Yi is out of range.
MacManus lands a slapping body shot.

Yi tries to clinch up but MacManus circles away and keeps his distance.
MacManus is looking to counter punch.
Yi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by MacManus.

Yi throws the kick towards the body but MacManus avoids it.

MacManus thows a leg kick but Yi checks it
and Yi counters with a solid body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
MacManus closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Yi! MacManus dives in looking to finish! Yi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Seok Yi spoke after the fight, saying 'This has been fun, but my MMA career is over. I'm going to go back to my passion of KT'.
