Celik throws an off balance right hand
and Melton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Celik misses with a right hand
and Melton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Melton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Celik throws a right hand that misses
and Melton counters with a nice body shot.
Merdan Celik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melton wants to clinch.
Celik looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Melton gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Celik.

It looks like Lucio Melton has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Celik throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Melton counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Celik is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Melton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Celik circles away.

Melton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Celik smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Melton gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Celik gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Melton is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
