The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danzig scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Danzig has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Danzig.

Danzig feints and as Barcelona raises his hands in defense, Danzig changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Danzig with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Danzig is in close to Barcelona's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Danzig lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Danzig has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Danzig is pushing down on Barcelona's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barcelona is fighting to maintain full guard but Danzig has managed to sneak the leg through.

Danzig lands a big elbow - Barcelona is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Danzig!
