Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teon Marsan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marsan moves into the clinch.

Marsan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mousasi misses with a straight left.
Marsan's coach down at Extreme MMA (7 Elites $250/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Marsan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mousasi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mousasi duly obliges.

It looks like Teon Marsan has been cut.
Mousasi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Marsan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mousasi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Marsan clinches.

Marsan has clasped his hands together around Mousasi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marsan prevents Mousasi from escaping the position.
Mousasi trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Marsan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mousasi down.
Mousasi takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Marsan cracks Mousasi with a big right hand but Mousasi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Mousasi takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Oh Mousasi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mousasi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Marsan has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marsan lands a strong strike to the head of Mousasi. That's dazed him! Marsan looking to finish here. Mousasi is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Marsan lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
