Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quin Kenobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joffrey Tyrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quin Kenobi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrell missing with a left hand there. Kenobi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kenobi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tyrell throws a body shot but no joy.
Tyrell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kenobi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tyrell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tyrell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Kenobi counters with a shoot takedown. Tyrell fights it but they end up in guard.

Tyrell has his feet on Kenobi's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Tyrell lands a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyrell lands a jab to the nose.
Tyrell punishes Kenobi's body with a nice straight punch.
Tyrell misses with a hook.
Tyrell misses with a wild body shot.
Kenobi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyrell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kenobi somewhat.
Tyrell doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Kenobi darts in looking for a takedown but Tyrell gets double underhooks and turns Kenobi into the cage.
Tyrell misses with a two punch combination.

Tyrell instigates a clinch.
Tyrell is pressed up against the cage. Kenobi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tyrell down to the mat. Tyrell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quin Kenobi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kenobi shoots in but no luck this time.
Tyrell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tyrell swings for the body but Kenobi moves out of range.
Kenobi is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tyrell.
Tyrell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kenobi staying out of range there.
Kenobi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tyrell falls off balance throwing a combination

and Kenobi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyrell won't be happy with that.

Tyrell sneaks out the side door and pushes Kenobi away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tyrell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kenobi.

Tyrell tried to score with a low kick but Kenobi checks it.
Tyrell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kenobi closes the distance and clinches up with Tyrell, looking for a takedown. Kenobi pushes Tyrell against the cage but Tyrell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tyrell getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kenobi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tyrell swivels and escapes.
Tyrell misses with a looping left.
Tyrell scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tyrell tried to score with a low kick but Kenobi checks it.
Tyrell lunges at Kenobi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kenobi's hand.
Tyrell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kenobi. Kenobi circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tyrell misses with a looping left.

Kenobi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tyrell stops a takedown attempt from Kenobi.
Kenobi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyrell is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tyrell lands an uppercut.
Kenobi tries for a takedown but Tyrell manages to get underhooks.
Tyrell prevents a takedown attempt there.
Tyrell lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kenobi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tyrell prevents it.
Tyrell scores with a shot to the side of Kenobi's head.

Tyrell has Kenobi pushed against the cage.
A body shot lands from Tyrell.
Tyrell doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Tyrell throws a punch but it's blocked by Kenobi.

Kenobi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tyrell to keep the fight standing.

Kenobi is trying to trip Tyrell. He has hold of a leg but Tyrell is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kenobi persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Tyrell wants to get back to his feet but Kenobi passes into half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kenobi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tyrell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Tyrell tries to kick Kenobi off but Kenobi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tyrell keeping hold of Kenobi's head, controlling as best he can.
Tyrell wants to improve his position but Kenobi is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joffrey Tyrell dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Tyrell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tyrell lands a lovely overhand right.
Kenobi goes for a double leg but Tyrell avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tyrell continues to drive forward.

Tyrell lands a left and a right that send Kenobi crashing to the mat, dazed. Tyrell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Kenobi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tyrell feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Kenobi crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
