Khan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Nord has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nord throws a sloppy head kick
and Khan counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Khan lunges at Nord with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nord's hand.
Khan checks a low kick from Nord.
Khan throws a looping overhand right but Nord ducks down to avoid it.
Nord changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Khan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nord fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Khan checks it well.
Khan looks to land a left hand but Nord moved out of range nicely.

Nice straight punches there by Khan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Khan.
Nord takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Khan feints and then cracks Nord's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nord down.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nord. That's going to slow Khan down.
Khan is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Khan cracks the inside of Nord's front leg.
Jab, jab by Nord - just one landing.
Nord's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Khan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nord scrambles back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Khan enables Nord to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Khan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
