Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Ray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Djin Kvasir!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvasir shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ray connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Djin Kvasir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kvasir with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kvasir takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Ray counters by clinching up.
Robbie Ray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Djin Kvasir.

Kvasir drags the fight down to the ground.
Ray wanted to stand there but Kvasir had control of the position.
Kvasir wants to sweep here but Ray controlling him for the moment.

Kvasir working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kvasir avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ray stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kvasir looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kvasir shoots in for a takedown but Ray shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ray tries to counter with a takedown but Kvasir is quick to defend against it.
Kvasir looks winded!

and Ray counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Djin Kvasir has been cut.
Kvasir takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ray lands a jab to the nose.
Kvasir shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ray counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Kvasir has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Robbie Ray!
A less than humble Robbie Ray misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Djin Kvasir was interviewed post fight and said 'next time is the time'.
