Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Kimmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rigel Arsscott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stanley Kimmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rigel Arsscott!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arsscott misses with a head kick.
Kimmons wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Arsscott enables Kimmons to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Arsscott manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kimmons definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kimmons drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kimmons jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Arsscott wants to stand and escape but Kimmons is having none of it.

Kimmons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arsscott swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kimmons controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Arsscott is working an open guard so Kimmons takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Arsscott rushes Kimmons and presses him up against the cage.

Arsscott pulls Kimmons into guard.
Kimmons could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kimmons wants to control from the top but Arsscott keeps moving.

Arsscott has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kimmons can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Arsscott uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Arsscott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kimmons manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kimmons shoots in and drives through. Arsscott sprawls well.

Arsscott wanted to stand there but Kimmons had control of the position.
Kimmons controls Arsscott momentarily but Arsscott frees himself.

Kimmons dives in for a single leg takedown but Arsscott sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kimmons is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Arsscott defends well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kimmons pulls Arsscott in close to prevent any damage.
Arsscott connects with a couple of short punches.

Arsscott drops back looking for a leg! Kimmons is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kimmons manages to kick Arsscott off! Arsscott jumps back into Kimmons's guard.

Kimmons is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Arsscott pushes Kimmons off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Kimmons shoots in for a takedown but Arsscott shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Arsscott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kimmons knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Arsscott bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Rigel Arsscott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!



Arsscott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kimmons kicks Arsscott off and gets back to his feet.
Arsscott throws a nice looking combination but Kimmons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
