Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cadan Ness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azinho Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadan Ness has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Cadan Ness!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Azinho Solomon!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solomon slips a jab and a cross from Ness.

Ness uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Solomon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Solomon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ness is trying to defend but Solomon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ness manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Solomon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ness, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Cadan Ness decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
