Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Taka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brett Harrison Wells!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taka keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've been told by Taka's head coaches at All Time Wrestling - 12 ELITE COACHES that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Taka lands a really nice looking cross but Wells seems unphased.
Bo Taka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taka waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wells.
Wells is trying to counter with his kicks.
Wells takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nice defenses there by Taka.
Wells throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wells dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wells throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Taka connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wells fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Taka.
Taka checks the leg kick.
Wells throws a series of punches but Taka moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Taka throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice uppercut there from Wells.
Nice straight punches there by Taka. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Taka.

It looks like Bo Taka has been cut.
Taka cracks Wells with a good jab.
Taka misses with an uppercut.
Taka misses with a straight left.

Wells slips a jab and a cross from Taka.
Wells ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Taka cracks the inside of Wells's front leg.
Taka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wells moves away.
Taka scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Taka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wells.
Taka appears to be looking for a big counter.
Taka is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Taka missing with a left hand there. Wells was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wells is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wells pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wells throws a body kick that misses.
Wells throws a jab but it's blocked by Taka.
Taka just misses with a punch to the body.
Taka lands a nice shot that snaps Wells's head back.
Wells motions for Taka to come forward. Wells throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wells is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Taka.
Taka quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Wells has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Taka lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wells's sensitive parts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taka fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wells has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Taka avoids the head kick by Wells.
An attempted straight right counter from Taka misses the target.
Taka with a nice cross.
Taka throws a lazy right hand but Wells sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wells misses with a wild body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Taka, as that shot connected.
Wells waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Taka.
Taka ducks under a wild hook from Wells.
Taka appears to be looking for a big counter.
Taka misses with a double jab.
It seemed like Wells was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Taka is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Nice uppercut lands for Wells. That snapped Taka's head back.
Wells throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wells on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Wells throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Taka avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Wells dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A jab from Taka misses.
Taka takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wells takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Taka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wells throws a lazy head kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Wells throws a chopping leg kick but Taka manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Wells uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Taka.
Taka with a hook.
Taka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wells looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wells has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Taka finds it's way round the side to connect with Wells's head.

Taka feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wells sprawling to the canvas! Wells rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Taka finish him?!


Wells is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taka cracks Wells with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wells falls to his knees and Taka doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bo Taka!
After the fight, Bo Taka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Brett Harrison Wells had this to say: 'I fight the way I fight. No regrets'.
