Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Effrairo.
bussey looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Effrairo decides to stand back up.

Effrairo moves into the clinch.
Effrairo lands a left hand.
bussey wants to get back to striking at distance but Effrairo won't allow it.
Effrairo gets through bussey's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Effrairo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Effrairo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

bussey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Legato Effrairo just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Effrairo has managed to clinch.

Effrairo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Effrairo manages to end up in side control.

bussey is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Effrairo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down bussey for as long as he can get away with.
