Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iwao Wada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Colombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wada comes to the cage accompanied by Kickstart My Heart. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wada fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We've been hearing reports that Wada has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Wada fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Colombo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wada moves away.
Colombo stuns Wada with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Wada scores with a takedown into Colombo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Colombo can't keep his opponent in guard - Wada advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Colombo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wada is looking to advance position but Colombo won't allow it.
Colombo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wada is working away from the top position though.
Colombo is trying to control but Wada passes into side control!

Wada is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Colombo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wada has hold of Colombo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Colombo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
