Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Palazzolo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vic Slovsky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palazzolo looks for a takedown but Slovsky sprawls well.
Palazzolo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slovsky circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Palazzolo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leandro Palazzolo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Palazzolo clinches up with Slovsky and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palazzolo wants to take the fight to the mat but Slovsky manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Slovsky pulls Palazzolo into guard.
Slovsky wants to sweep but no luck.

Slovsky is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Palazzolo defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slovsky avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Palazzolo passes Slovsky's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Slovsky regains full guard. Nicely done.
Palazzolo wants to control from the top but Slovsky keeps moving.

Slovsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Palazzolo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Palazzolo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Palazzolo stopping the sweep attempt from Slovsky.
Slovsky is still trying to improve position.
Slovsky is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Palazzolo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Slovsky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Palazzolo has managed to get both his arms back between Slovsky's legs - danger averted.

Palazzolo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Slovsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Palazzolo is one step ahead there.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Slovsky wants to improve his position but instead Palazzolo has moved into half guard.

Palazzolo pushes down on Slovsky's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Slovsky wants to get back to full guard.
Palazzolo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Palazzolo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Slovsky looks winded!

Slovsky tries to improve his position but Palazzolo has taken his back! Palazzolo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Slovsky tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Palazzolo pushes Slovsky away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
