Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Fitzpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blink Knilb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blink Knilb has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dan Fitzpatrick's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Fitzpatrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Blink Knilb!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knilb feints and as Fitzpatrick raises his hands in defense, Knilb changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Fitzpatrick has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Knilb has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Fitzpatrick landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Fitzpatrick lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Knilb decides to pull guard.
Knilb looking for a sweep. Not yet Knilb, not yet.
Fitzpatrick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fitzpatrick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fitzpatrick has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fitzpatrick won't allow Knilb to sweep him here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Knilb working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fitzpatrick has passed into half guard!
Fitzpatrick wants to take a breather but Knilb is having none of it.
Knilb keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Fitzpatrick is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knilb tries to kick Fitzpatrick off but Fitzpatrick keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Fitzpatrick is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Knilb is just riding it out for now. Fitzpatrick eventually gives up the hold.
Fitzpatrick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Knilb keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fitzpatrick is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Knilb sees it coming and defends easily.
Knilb looks like he's trying to stand up.
Knilb moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Fitzpatrick trying to control but Knilb is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Knilb is trying to keep Fitzpatrick in close.
Fitzpatrick stands up over Knilb, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fitzpatrick loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Knilb is trying to control the position but Fitzpatrick postures up.

Knilb looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fitzpatrick has picked Knilb up and slammed him! Knilb can't keep hold of the triangle and Fitzpatrick manages to pass to side control!
Check out the look on Fitzpatrick's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Knilb is looking for a sweep.
Fitzpatrick creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Knilb sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Fitzpatrick working the strikes but Knilb uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fitzpatrick is nestled in close to Knilb, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fitzpatrick trying to control from half guard but Knilb is working away.
Knilb wants to control but Fitzpatrick is keeping busy.
Knilb is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Knilb manages to get to full guard.
Knilb is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Knilb looks winded!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Knilb looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fitzpatrick passes into side control.

Fitzpatrick is trying to get an arm triangle but Knilb is defending well.
Knilb is trying to get back to half guard.
Knilb wants to get back to his feet but Fitzpatrick drags him back down.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fitzpatrick throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Fitzpatrick tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Fitzpatrick dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Knilb moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Dan Fitzpatrick has been cut.

Fitzpatrick gets caught flat footed, as Knilb shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fitzpatrick has his hands on Knilb's head, controlling the position.
Fitzpatrick looking to control.
Fitzpatrick tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knilb gets to his feet. Fitzpatrick looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Knilb throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fitzpatrick was covering up waiting for the punch and Knilb finishes the takedown easily into guard.


Fitzpatrick is rocked!
Fitzpatrick not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Oh Fitzpatrick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Knilb decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Knilb shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Fitzpatrick is out cold and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Blink Knilb!
