Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Supermassive Black Hole by Muse. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McDonald as he jumps to the side.

McDonald scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

McDonald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McDonald gets to mount! Williams was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

McDonald misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
McDonald has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Williams's face.

McDonald thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

McDonald has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Williams defend it? McDonald steps over the head and cranks it - Williams is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McDonald!
