Kure comes to the cage accompanied by BIG SHUG - who's hard. Leeroy has chosen Boondocks Theme Song as his entrance music. Krejzi Kure has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Krejzi Kure!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 27 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Leeroy!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kure lands with a hook. Leeroy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Leeroy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Leeroy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bruce Leeroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leeroy lands a slapping body shot.
We've been hearing reports that Kure has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A punch lands to the side of Kure 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Krejzi Kure has been cut.
Leeroy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Leeroy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A big left from Kure misses.
It seemed like Leeroy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Leeroy looks to throw the jab but Kure is out of range.
Kure walks into a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leeroy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Leeroy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kure on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kure tries to clinch up but Leeroy circles away and keeps his distance.
Leeroy wants to land a leg kick but Kure is out of range.
Kure was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Leeroy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
An attempted straight right counter from Kure misses the target.
Kure is trying hard to land a takedown here. Leeroy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Leeroy looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Leeroy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kure sprawling to the canvas! Kure rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Leeroy finish him?!


Kure is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leeroy jabs at Kure's body.
Oh Kure is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kure is breathing heavily.
Kure leaves his chin hanging out and Leeroy seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kure crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bruce Leeroy!
Bruce Leeroy gave a mention to Firebird Designs in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
